Laura Duksaitė: ‘Moderation encourages listening in depth’

2025-11-18

Laura Duksaitė-Iškauskienė, who moderated this year's American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania Executive Conference 2026, shares the benefits of moderation.

Modernization has one big advantage. As Laura Duksaitė-Iškauskienė, who moderated the American Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania’s Conference for CEOs 2026, says, when preparing to moderate, you read a lot of speakers’ articles, interviews, and analyses.

“Moderation forces you to listen in depth rather than on the surface. When you know that after every speaker you will go up on stage to interview them, you can’t miss a single thought (maybe the most important one), so there is much more in your head after such events than after a regular conference”, says Laura.

This year’s conference covered a wide range of topics.

From economic signals and the 2026 reforms, to artificial intelligence, capital markets or generational differences.
Here are a few of the highlights that stick out:

  • pension solutions are not a product, but a life strategy;
  • IoT may take over some of the work, but the good customer service will remain with the person;
  • Productivity and humanity must be in balance;
  • sometimes the biggest challenge for managers is not to anticipate change, but to learn to adapt quickly when it comes.

Great content and an amazing audience.
